One-Point Perspective

Point of View Images

View of Toledo is an interesting birds eye view, because it's definitely above the city looking down.   However, the city rests on a hill, so the view is still looking straight on.  I would also say that it's a two-point perspective, because the rive crosses the horizon line at one point and the buildings at another.  This causes the eye to go two different directions when taking in the entire piece.

This image is a bugs eye view of a tree.  (I got this off the internet a few weeks ago, because my class is doing a unit on trees, so I'm excited to get to use it again myself).  It's evident that it's a bugs eye view, because the image is looking straight up a tree, but I really like how the viewer feels as though he or she is clinging to the tree like an ant or caterpillar would be.  Lastly, the extreme close up view allows for a lot of texture to be seen on the trunk of the tree.
